Is TableEdge really free right now?
Yes. While we're in beta, every feature is free and there's no credit card. We're trading software for feedback. When we launch paid plans, beta users get a permanent founder discount.
What does “beta” mean for my data?
It means the product is still evolving — features change, and you'll occasionally see rough edges. It does not mean your data is at risk. Everything is encrypted at rest, backed up daily, and exportable to CSV at any time.
Which POS systems do you support today?
Square and Toast, with full sync of sales, items, and labor. We're adding Clover and Lightspeed next based on user demand. Tell us what you use.
Can I switch from MarginEdge, Restaurant365, or QuickBooks?
Yes. Most data lives in your POS and accounting system, both of which we read directly. For historical numbers, our import wizard accepts CSVs from any provider — we'll help you map the columns.
How do you handle invoices you can't read?
Documents that fail extraction land in a review queue with the original image. You can correct line items by hand in seconds, and the next invoice from that vendor learns from the correction.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Export everything as CSV from the dashboard. Email us and we'll permanently delete your account and all related data within 30 days. No retention games.
Do you support multiple locations?
Yes — multi-location is built in from day one. Compare locations side by side in reports, set role-based access per location, and budget independently for each.
Who do I talk to if something breaks?
The founder. There's no support tier between you and the person who built the feature. Use the “Talk to the founder” button below or your in-app help link.
